Editor-in-Chief – Nicholas Childress

Nick ChildressNicholas Childress is a Master of Arts candidate in the strategic studies department of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the editor-in-chief of the SAIS Review of International Affairs. Before entering SAIS, Mr. Childress worked in New York for the executor of a large estate, managing the administration of trusts, investments and philanthropic contributions. He holds a B.A. in Arabic from Georgetown University, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and is originally from Richmond, VA.

 

 

Senior Editor – Lindsay Steves

Lindsay StevesLindsay Steves is a Master of Arts candidate in the Energy, Resources and Environment Department of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the Senior Editor of the SAIS Review of International Affairs. Lindsay holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Alabama, where she studied Latin American Politics, Spanish, and Economics. She is originally from Huntsville, Alabama. In her downtime, Lindsay enjoys figure drawing, running, and soccer.

 

Web Editor – Toni Mikec

Toni Mikec PortraitToni Mikec is a second-year Master of Arts candidate at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), concentrating in strategic studies and international economics. He has traveled and studied extensively in Western Europe and speaks fluent French, Croatian and Serbian. Prior to attending SAIS, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Davis, where he studied International Relations and French. When not studying, Toni can be found editing his website, The Encyclopedia Omnia and reading books to expand his collection of famous quotes.

 

Managing Editor – Kathryn Olson

Kathryn is a Master of Arts candidate in the Strategic Studies department at Johns Hopkins SAIS and the Managing Editor of the SAIS Review of International Affairs. Before SAIS, she worked for Senator Brian Schatz of Hawaii as a military legislative aid and has completed internships at the Center for a New American Security, The New Republic, and the U.S. Embassy in Myanmar. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University and speaks Arabic.

 

Director of Branding – Kyle Schut

Kyle Schut is a Master of Arts candidate in the China Studies department of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the Director of Branding of the SAIS Review of International Affairs. Before entering SAIS, Kyle worked in healthcare management. Kyle holds dual B.A.’s in china studies and music from St. Olaf College, and is originally from Minneapolis, MN.
